Kindergarten
Super Kids' Kindergarten is an all day program. Our Kindergarten teacher is highly experienced, State certified and college degreed. We also have an in-class teacher's aide. Our Kindergarten follows the highly respected A Beka Book Christian Curriculum. Envied by many public schools, this outstanding curriculum uses a whole language approach that incorporates phonetics and repetition to promote learning. The A Beka curriculum also provides excellent mathematics, social studies and science programs. Our goal is for each child to read simple sentences, understand numbers up to 100, tell time, perform basic addition and subtraction, and calculate the value of coin money. At Super Kids, we also recognize the importance for children to experience the arts! We have art and music time each day. Often these activities will be coordinated with the lesson of the day to make learning more exciting. Super Kids also offers a foreign language program that focuses on the basics and beginnings of Spanish. We incorporate Spanish lessons including small phrases, counting, and colors, and use role playing to help the children learn phrases and concepts. Super Kids understands the importance of introducing computers at a young age. By providing several computers in each classroom, we are able to use computer time to sharpen math and reading skills.
Our academic program has enjoyed tremendous success. Every student who has graduated from our Kindergarten program was able to read on graduation day. Most are able to read at a first grade level!
We use the following methods to promote joyful learning:
- Learning Centers to promote social interactive play
- Computer Learning Games to re-enforce academics
- Circle Time for group participation with themed stories, songs, rhymes and riddles
- Art Projects using different media centered around weekly themes
- Music and Dance movement weekly
- Small Groups utilizing challenging learning games and providing individual attention
- Cooking to compliment the weekly theme
- Worksheets from the A Beka Book curriculum provide a bright and colorful introduction
- Name Writing practice for recognition and spelling
Play Time
At Super Kids, we understand the important of play time! Physical activities are just as important as academic activities for young children. It is no accident, therefore, that our physical and athletic activities are just as diverse and comprehensive as our academic curriculum. We offer a large and naturally shaded outdoor playground, our own outdoor nature center, an athletic field, and a large indoor play area!
Super Kids offers year-‘round enrollment. Our preschool and day care options are very flexible. The full day and half day prices include before and after school care.
- 5 Half Days Preschool (four hours per day; 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM) $138 per week
- 3 Full Days Preschool (6:30 AM – 6:00 PM) $138 per week
- 5 Full Days Preschool (6:30 AM – 6:00 PM) $153 per week
- 5 Full Days Kindergarten (6:30 AM – 6:00 PM) $158 per week
- Before School Care Only (6:30 AM – 9:00 AM) $55 per week
- After School Care Only (3:00 PM – 6:00 PM) $55 per week
- Before and After School Care $100 per week.
Before and after school care is available for grades kindergarten through third. Parents must arrange student transportation. Certain local public schools will offer transportation options.
Children are enrolled for one full calendar year, subject to the terms of our Enrollment Agreement and school policies. Tuition is paid weekly in advance, with payment due each Friday for the following week. The first week's tuition is due at enrollment.
Each child is given five vacation, personal or sick days per school year, for which they will not be charged tuition. These days maybe split up or used all at once.
Holidays and snow days are included in the weekly tuition rates unless you choose to use your tuition free days.
